Brookwood Tree Consulting is frequently called upon to facilitate tree conservation in capital enhancement projects at the University of Georgia (UGA). One recent project involved the installation of a new steam bank with several trees potentially impacted. Paramount to UGA was the conservation of over two dozen mature crepe myrtles.
Brookwood Tree develop plans to transplant these crepe myrtles to a off site holding yard, wrote tree care specifications, and an enhancement plan to improve tree structure. Despite a summer construction schedule, the project was successfully completed with no noticeable decline in tree health.
